Patrick Hacon

My career was in the Insurance sector before working part-time in a local business, followed by two years with a National volunteer recruitment organisation. A life long Caister resident, I have always been active in the Community and represented Caister South on Norfolk County Council from 1985 and the whole village from 2005 to 2009, becoming Chairman in 2007.

I have seen significant investment and job creation by the Labour Government in the whole area and improvements in Caister, particularly to all our schools and with the introduction of Nursery Education. For many years I represented Caister North on the Parish Council and was a Borough Councillor for 6 years until 2010.

I successfully campaigned for road improvements and drainage schemes in Caister and supported and assisted several Caister Charities with grant applications and by working in the background.
